Our GMS Tutors have 20 combined years of teaching experience and have learned a thing or two about what works along the way. We’ve taught privately, through an agency, online, in person and in schools. We’ve taken students through structured grades and taught them all they need to know about chords and jazz patterns to be great buskers. You name it, we’ve probably done it - but our biggest take away is that things work better with the student as a priority! Our aim is to find the kind of learning that works for you. We’ll match you with the tutor we think will be the best fit, give you access to your own ‘Student File’ with lesson logs and online resources so we can track your progress together. We also often create our own teaching resources meaning you will get materials that are completely tailored to you and your musical journey. However, if a more laid back approach is more your thing, we’ll happily tear ourself away from the spreadsheets and jam with you to your heart’s content.

ONLINE AND IN PERSON

Lessons are available in person or online. Please use the contact form below to book in! We can travel to you depending on your location and we also host lessons in our home music studio. Online lessons are delivered via Zoom.

Instrumental Lessons.

We currently offer lessons on several different instruments. Instruments offered so far are:

Singing Lessons/Rep Sessions.

At GMS we firmly believe everyone can sing, it’s just down to finding your voice. Our singing lessons can also be tailored to suit you - whether you’re looking to improve your technique or bring out your musicality and connection to the music. Our team have studied in Estill Voice Training so we employ some of these techniques in our lessons. We also offer Rep Sessions for actors to expand your rep folder and prepare for auditions.

Music Theory.

Our music theory lessons cover everything you might need to know to help you develop as a musician. We look at reading music, advanced music notation, knowledge of chords and keys, transposition and time signatures. We cater for all abilities from an introduction to music reading to advance levels.

Drama Lessons.

We also offer LAMDA lessons in LAMDA Acting and Musical Theatre.
